Maurizio Bulleri. As P1 Powerboat World Champion in 2005 and European and Italian Champion many times over, Maurizio is well-known as one of the most expert motor boat testers anywhere. Coming from Genova, he’s tested hundreds of boats of every kind, from the smallest rib to the most luxurious super yacht. He loves speed and never misses an opportunity to push it to max, even when sailing conditions aren’t the best. With his television segments he manages to whet the audiences appetite through his simple yet professional reportage on the boats and their complex propulsion systems. He’s been devoted to the boating world on TV for 10 years and as of today has thousands of fans across all continents.
Justin Ratcliffe is a leading photojournalist in his field having spent more than two decades photographing and writing about superyachts, along with the people who design, build and own them. Based in Italy, the world’s most prolific producer of large yachts, he has travelled the world on assignments for the yachting media. Justin joined The Boat Show team of contributors in June 2018.

Sandro Donato Grosso is a television journalist for Sky Sports. With over 25 years of experience in TV he’s a big fan of engines…in fact he has covered the Moto GP for Sky Sports across the world. He has been hosting the Boat Show since its beginning, making news in the most exclusive boats and locations, interviewing the main personalities in yachting and presenting from the biggest international boatshows as well.
Luigi Magliari Galante
Luigi Magliari Galante is both sailor and journalist, who just loves all things to do with sailing. He got to love it when he was a boy and hasn’t let it go since. Fortunately, his passion has become his career: he’s worked for the most influential media in international sailing. He tries out the sail boats on the Boat Show.
As an Australian, Sam Orani has spent his life on the seas. He bought his first boat when he was just 16 years old. Due to his love for deep sea fishing, Sam got into the International Game Fishing Club in 2002 and has since participated in all the main Australian fishing tournaments. He now lives between Milan and Adelaide nurturing his passions: sport, sea and looking after the environment. He presents “fishing boats” and other stories on the Boat Show.
A graduate in yacht design, Antonio Vettese is one of the biggest sailing journalists in Italy. For 15 years he’s been the director of “Vela and Motore”, the longest surviving sailing magazine in Italy. He also writes for other prestigious papers like “Il Sole 24 Ore” and “Il Giornale”. Antonio has a great interest in the Coppa America and has been present at most, which has led him on to write many books. He is a senior sail boat tester for The Boat show and a great storyteller of sails.
Rachele Vitello, journalist since 2006, is a huge fan and expert in sailing with a particular interest in regattas. Curious, meticulous, with great attention to detail, she has a background in Economics and Marketing. Since she became part of the Boat Show team in 2011, she’s reported from the most important regatta’s and boat shows in the world and has interviewed many internationally known people from the sailing world.
